In order to run a GeoGrid scan, you must first identify the Google Business Profile listing you wish to run a report on.

There are four different methods for looking up a GBP listing:

  • My GMB

  • Google Search

  • Map URL

  • Place ID

My GMB

Select "My GMB" and click in the search bar to the right. Any Google Business Profile listing you have connected into the Linda Local will appear as an option. You can type in a listing you are searching for. Click on the listing you wish to set up a GeoGrid scan for.

Google Search

Select "Google Search" as your option and begin to type in the business name that you wish to look up. Select the business name in the list that pops up.

Place ID

Select Place ID as your option. To look up the place ID, go to the knowledge graph of the GMB listing you want to grab the Place ID for and right-click on Write a Review. Click the Inspect button and in the source code you will see data-pid="place id". Copy the Place id and paste it into the search bar in the Linda Local app.

MapURL

Select Map URL as your option. Go to Google Maps and search the GMB listing you wish to run a GeoGrid scan on. Click on the business listing in Google Maps, copy the URL and paste it into the search bar in the Linda Local app.
