When you create a GeoGrid for a store front business, the center of the GeoGrid is at the point where the business is located. When you create a GeoGrid for a Service Area Business having no place where clients can come, the center of the GeoGrid is located at the geographical center of the service area.

This center is calculated automatically, and it doesn't take into account that the center might be located over the water, for example. Of course, you can change the location of the grid center manually just dragging it by the center point, but there is a way to set the default GeoGrid center for Service Area Businesses in the Linda Local application.

Please note: It won't affect you Service Area on Google or existing GeoGrids, neither scheduled nor live ones.

  1. Click the "Locations" link in the top navigation bar.

  2. Click your Service Area Business

  3. On the "Dashboard" page click the "Set Geogrid default center" link below the location name.

  4. The page with the map and coordinates of the automatically calculated default GeoGrid will open. The red marker denotes the default center of the grid. You can either drag it manually to a new place, or you can type in the address of the place where the center of the grid should be located in the text input at the top. When you are done click the "Apply" button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
