Customer service is one of the most important parts of a business. In this article we shall cover creating your Linda Local support chat and embedding its code to your website.

Let's start with logging in to your Linda Local account on the https://chat.lindalocal.com/ page. You need to create a channel first. This is gonna be a unique chat with its own settings.

Hit "Settings", "Inboxes", "Add Inbox" as shown on the screenshot below.

Choose "Website" type. Other chat options and their settings will be covered in separate articles.

Configure your website name and other details.

Add Agents - the people that will be managing your support chat.

Don't worry if you haven't invited anybody yet - you can add them later using "Agents" menu.

Your inbox is ready and now you can use the code snippet to embed that support chat into your website. You copy-paste the code to start supporting your customers. Add it to the root file of your website or as a "custom HTML" if you're using WordPress.

You can have multiple support chat channels - one for every purpose with unique settings - just create as many as you need and remember to add Agents to every chat - even you as an Administrator should do that to see the contents of the Inbox.
