Linda Local contacts section is available on the Home Screen of the Chat. Think of it as a database that contains the details of the customers you have interacted with.
If you have already added some contacts - they will be there. Else you will see a blank screen.
You can add contacts in 3 ways. One is to add it yourself by clicking the green "New Contact" button on the top right. Fill in the necessary info and you're set.
The Second way is to collect. the contact info by enabling Pre Chat Form and marking email as required, for instance.
The third way is when the customer enters his email when starting a new conversation. This is called "Enable mail collect box" and can be reached and set up in the Inbox settings.
Once the contacts are available in your list, you can edit the details.
Import Contacts
Linda LocaI allows you to bulk import contacts from a CSV file. Here are the steps:
Open Contacts page
The top right corner contains the Import button - click it
Observe our sample CSV - you can fill in only "email" and "name" columns
Upload the file you would like to import to Linda LocaI
Search Contacts
On top of the Contacts page there's a search field that lets you filter contacts by name, email or phone number.
Filtering Contacts
The Linda LocaI Contacts section lets you apply advanced filters by reaching out to the Filter button on top right. You can filter contacts with multiple attributes at once and query them with AND and OR operators in a friendly UI. The attributes below can be applied to filter contacts:
Name
Email
Phone number
Contact Identifier
Country
City
Add as many as you want and create custom funnels to meet your most sophisticated filtering needs.
Once applied, your filter can be saved as shown on the screenshot.
To cancel filtering, hit the Filter button again and clear it all.
Contacts Notes
Each contact in Linda Local has a dedicated page for adding notes to each contact in your directory. Select a contact from your list by clicking on it - the note field will be on the right side of the screen.
To delete a note click on the trash can icon on its right side - it appears when you hover mouse pointer above the note.
Finally, there are Outbound conversations available for your contacts.
You can send them from your contact page to the following conversation channels.
