Disclaimer: This article covers only the connection of social media platform accounts to Zapier, if you want to set up the entire workflow on your own, please refer to these articles: posting to Facebook Pages, Pinterest, and Instagram.
First of all, go to https://zapier.com/ and create an account (if you don’t have one). You will need a Premium account to work with webhooks and looping.
Facebook Pages
Click on the "Apps" in the side menu:
Click the "Add connection" button
The "Add a new app connection" popup opens. Type in "Facebook" into the "App name" input and click on the "Facebook Pages" from the search results below.
A new window will open asking you to authorize on Facebook. Enter your credentials and click the "Log In" button.
You will be asked to grant access to your name and profile picture. Click "Continue as..."
You will be asked to select the Facebook page on which you want to publish your moments. Select it and click the "Next" button.
Click "Done" on the next screen.
You will see the notification that "You've now linked Zapier to Facebook". Click the "OK" button.
You will return to Zapier. (Note, If you see the message that Zapier couldn't connect to your account, please close the Facebook window and return to step 3.).
Congratulations, you have successfully set up the connection of your Facebook account to Zapier, you will be able to use it later for the moment syndication.
Click on the "Apps" in the side menu:
Click the "Add connection" button
The "Add a new app connection" popup opens. Type in "Pinterest" into the "App name" input and click on the "Pinterest" from the search results below.
A new window will open, asking you to provide access to your Pinterest account. Click the “Give access” button.
You will be redirected back to Zapier
Congratulations, you have successfully set up the connection of your Pinterest account to Zapier, you will be able to use it later for the moment syndication.
Instagram
Important: First of all, make sure that your Instagram account is a "business" one (not a "personal" or "creator"), that it is connected to your Facebook account, and that it is connected to a Facebook Page.
Click on the "Apps" in the side menu:
Click the "Add connection" button
The "Add a new app connection" popup opens. Type in "Instagram" into the "App name" input and click on "Instagram For Business" from the search results below.
A new window will open asking you to authorize on Facebook. Enter your credentials from the account that is linked to your Instagram account and click the "Log In" button.
You will be asked to allow Zapier to get access to your name and profile picture. Click the "Continues as [Your Name Here]" button.
Select the Instagram account on which you want to publish GrowthBooster moments and click the "Next" button.
Select the Facebook page associated with your Instagram account on which you want to publish GrowthBooster moments and click the "Next" button.
Click "Done" on the next screen.
You will see the notification that "You've now linked Zapier to Facebook". Click the "OK" button.
You will return to Zapier. (Note: If you see the message that Zapier couldn't connect to your account, please close the Facebook authorization window and start again with step 3).
Congratulations, you have successfully set up the connection of your Instagram For Business account to Zapier, you will be able to use it later for the moment syndication.
